    Tri-Hist is a cornmeal-based antihistamine for horses and is the leading brand of antihistamine decongestant oral powders on the market.

    Description

    TRI-HIST® GRANULES

    Neogen

    CAUTION: Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.

    Each ounce contains:

    Pyrilamine Maleate USP

    600 mg

    Pseudoephedrine HCl USP

    600 mg

    in a palatable corn meal base.

    Caution:

    For Equine use only.

    Not for use in horses intended for food.

    Do not use at least 72 hours prior to sporting events.

    Indications: For use when a histamine antagonizing preparation is required.

    Dosage: 1/2 ounce (1 level tablespoon) per 1,000 lb body weight or as recommended by a veterinarian. Can be mixed with feed and repeated at 12 hour intervals if needed.

    Store at controlled room temperature between 15°C-30°C (59°F-86°F).
