Cons:

My chronic renal failure cat's skin was very tough and he'd get antsy with regular 20 gauge needles. The 18 gauge the vet gave me wouldn't go in and was unpleasant for him when it did. With the Terumo 18 gauge he did not seem to mind and the administration was over so fast that it wasn't a problem. These could be the answer for administering to those pets that fluids are a stress for.

These needles are really thin and smooth. They make giving fluids to my cat so much less painful and so much faster. Reducing stress for both me and my cat is worth its weight in gold!
