Cannot beat the price. I suspected one of my cats had tapeworm so the standard is to treat all of the felines in the household. Upon consulting our vet, they were going to charge me about 5X the price of VetDepot for the same medication! Checked around and this site is the cheapest and the pills worked great. Cats usually get tapeworms from swallowing a flea who is a carrier, flea gets digested, tapeworm latches onto cat digestive system, and there you go so you may want to check for a flea problem as well. Drontal also works against other parasites as well but you have to be vigilant as this medication is NOT a preventative so your cat may need to be medicated again in the future. Very happy to have saved a lot of money, full instructions were included. I administered the pills with the Greenies pill pockets and my cats gobbled right up without a hassle.

I use Drontal as a preventative treatment for my cat every three months. What I like about this product is that it is effective against several types of worms, not just one. It is expensive, but I like that this is one of the only places I can buy only a few pills at a time and not break my budget. The pills are a little large, so I broke them in half for my cat. Otherwise she had no problem taking the pills, and had no side effects at all. One pill every 3 months is worth it to me to keep her happy and healthy.

this was a life-saver for me! we took in a stray kitten, so I decided to worm both the stray and my adult cat to be on the safe side since the kitten turned out to be infested with fleas. the pills arrived quickly, the kitten gobbled up her 1/2 pill in no time (she will literally eat anything, poor little thing), but my adult cat was a problem. I advise you to order extras like I did, in case you have to try multiple techniques. (tuna finally worked) but both the cat and kitten are healthy and happy now (after an array of flea treatments and a litter-box bleaching). drontal really saved me a huge vet bill though! it's fantastic! now I just have to take the kitten to get spayed instead of paying for both cats to also go through the expense and hassle of feces exams and more expensive worm treatments at the vet. :)

I rescued a litter of kittens and after 2 courses of the liquid wormer (and two office visit charges) there was still something "off" and also had diarrhea. After giving this to them everything cleared up within a couple days, no side effects and they were happy kitties. So glad to have this option and not have to pay for another vet visit when it really wasn't needed. This is the same pill the vet would give, if you're unsure if you should trust the quality-don't...just buy it.

And the best is you didn't require a prescription. These were for feral kittens so helped a lot with expense. And I was able to order as little as one tablet since I only had three small kittens they could split the pill. worked great and the kittens are happy.

Excellent treatment for tapeworms and roundworms. I always keep them in stock, and I treat them again after two weeks to destroy developing larvae present during the first treatment.

I am absolutely over the moon to be able to purchase this product via the internet. I have six indoor cats and 4 that I care for outside and treating worms gets extremly costly. With that said, I got four pills to treat multiple cats and was only successful in getting about 1/4 of the medication into any of them. I have one tablet left to treat a fairly low key female, and am affirming it will be a go. Do you carry the device that the vets carry to sort of shoot it down their little throat? (That sounds harsher than intended). Lovingly get it down their throat?

I have used Drontal before. I typically purchase it from a local pet store, but I had to purchase it elsewhere while we were away from home. It's the same pill and it works wonders! The price makes it even better.

Just a tip that I learned from where I typically buy my pet meds: Drontal should be given once a month for approximately 3 months straight to ensure that the worms are completely gone.

Compared to $20 per dose at the vet, I will give this ANY DAY over the vet given stuff. My SEVEN kitties had tapeworms, and I was SO happy I was able to order this!! MAKE SURE YOU PROPERLY DOSE THIS PRODUCT, otherwise it will be ineffective. My 15 pound kitty required 2 pills. I was able to treat all 7 of mine with 8 pills cause 3 are kittens. After shopping around, this is the best place to buy this product. It has the best price per tablet, the shipping is fast, and there was no need for a prescription.

I knew my cat has worms because we have treated her before so going to the vet would have been a waste of time, money and stress out my cat. With Vet Depot i was able to get my cats medication without it having to clear the prescription with my vet or making an office visit. Also, the medication works great, it is the best option for worm treatment, tapeworms especially. Me and especially my cat weren't too happy about the pills not being coated, but crushing the dose up and putting it in food works well.

I have ten cats to care for in the rural area I live in, and found one of these "mousers" showing the tell-tale signs of worms at the base of her tail years ago. I dosed each of them with Drontal at that time and have continued to do so. No more signs of worms, and each cat tolerates the medication well. My heaviest cat only requires two pills per the included dosing recommendations.



The only drawback is that the pills are uncoated, so your aim has to be pretty good the first time around or you'll end up with a slimey mess of pill and cat slobber on your finger. My cats don't fall for the pill-in-the-canned-food trick at all, so medications have to be given by hand. But, at least the pills are small and otherwise manageable.

I have an outdoor cat and wasn't able to obtain a stool sample for my vet when my cat threw up a roundworm. My vet gave her Drontal and it worked great! I recently wormed her again with Drontal that I purchased from Vet Depot. They have the best prices and I haven't seen any sign of worms since I treated her.
