My cat doesn't mind the taste - in fact she eats it just fine. It has been two weeks since I started giving it to her and I've already noticed a difference in her behavior. She is getting around better and can jump! Thank you VetDepot for making it available at this price.
My kitty Grizzabella is seventeen years old and I have been giving her the Cosequin for about two months now. She was having difficulty jumping up on the couch and bed. Since we have been giving her this we definitely see a difference in her ability to jump up and easier for her to climb the stairs. She still has some problems but its only been a short time since she has been taking the meds. The price we are paying is really inexpensive compared to where we were buying it before. I was paying twenty five dollars for fifty five pills. Now we are getting eighty pills for sixteen dollars- you do the math. We love your deals. Thank you and my kitty thanks you because we didn't know if we could afford to buy it for her too much longer at that price. She takes two a day and that can be really expensive. Thank you!
I've only been giving this to Sterling, my 14 year old Maine Coon, for about 3 weeks, but I can already see a difference in him. He's moving easier, and a lot more than he was. He's starting to play like a kitten again. I'm very pleased!
My cat could initially taste or smell it and wouldn't eat her soft food. I'm trying to mix it up better and she seems to be getting more used to it.
My 17 yr old yellow tabby was thin and slowing down quite a bit but I am pleased with how this product has helped his quality of life. He is bit more alert and agile. And the price is easy on my pocket since I am on a fixed income. Thanks to Vetdepot
My cat is 18, and I started using Cosequin a few weeks ago. I sprinkle the contents on her food. I think there's some gradual improvement in her hips, and I'm sure she is feeling better. I have a number of toys on the floor for her, and I was planning to get rid of them because she had not paid any attention to them in a long time. But the other day, she was batting one of them around the living room!
Our vet had us start giving Cosequin to our senior cat instead of the baby aspirin due to the possible harmful affects. She never noticed it in her canned food and we have since added two more cats to the list of those receiving it. They get around much better and are more comfortable, especially in the winter.
We have a 17 year old cat who is feeling a little stiff in her joints. The Cosequin made her feel better and she was up moving around more and her movements were much easier and seemed less painful.
My sweet Sparky is over 20 years old and very arthritic. My vet prescribed a daily dose of Cosequin. I sprinkle and mix the capsule contents on her food every morning and she has no problem eating it. Sparky has been taking this medication for a few years now. At twenty years, she is not active but the Cosequin combined with another pain med keeps her comfortable. I was impressed with the customer service and the promptness of the VetDepot delivery. The cost of this medication is half of what I was paying. A really good savings. What I purchased from VetDepot is the exact same product that I used to get from my Vet. I'm very pleased.
a great way to help your cats deal with old age; improve their quality of life
My cat Dusty was having difficulty jumping up to high places. The doctor recommended a supplement for her joints. After much research, I chose Cosequin. I have placed several orders, and find the product quality consistent with each order and the price within an affordable range. Dusty has improved, and is back to her rambunctious self.
I have been using this product for about 5 years for one of my cats who has a bit of arthritis in her front legs. It's hard to say how well it works, as I don't know what she's like without it! She's been on it since I noticed her limping. She doesn't seem to limp any worse after all these years. She won't eat her food if I sprinkle it, so I have to give it to her orally. It's a bit big, but since it's a capsule, it goes down a little easier, I think. Vet Depot has the cheapest price I've seen yet for this product.
The vet recommended this for the arthritic cats. It's easy to administer by simply opening the capsules and sprinkling the powder on their canned food. I'm not sure whether it's helping, but it can't hurt and there have been no noticable side effects. VetDepot price is reasonable, particularly when ordering with other meds to get free shipping.
This product seems to help my elderly kitties move easier.
We recently adopted a rescue cat that has "knee" problems and the vet recommended this product. By ordering from VetDepot, I'm saving almost 50%! I sprinkle it on his food, which is great, he seems to like it & it seems to be helping! Would I ever order again -- YOU BET! I received them very quickly and with the savings to boot, what more could you ask for?
Our 12 1/2 year old cat has been taking these capsule contents daily for about 2 years and has improved remarkably. He jumps around again and plays vigorously with our 10 month old puppy - he has a great time running and chasing her and his two cat sisters. The only negative I would say is that sometimes when I open the capsules there are no contents inside. (BTW, there is at least one peer-reviewed data study proving cosamine works in humans.)
A few years ago someone recommended Cosequin for my cat who is now 14. He was really slowing down, not running or jumping. After a few months he was moving around better and seemed more comfortable. He can still jump around with 4 feet off the floor with ease. He easily does the stairs from one floor to another in our house. And, he vigorously plays with our other pets. Initially I was buying this product at retail, but the VetDepot offers a much better value.
We have a large, older rescued cat who has always walked with this odd stiff-legged gait. At the suggestion of our pet-sitter, we started giving him Cosequin each day. Although it never looked as if he was in pain, now that he has been on the Cosequin for several months, he no longer has the stiff-legged gait. Seems to work quite well for whatever ailed our old boy!
My cat tore his anterior cruciate ligament about 18 months ago. I had the option of surgery or short term mobility restriction with long term joint supplment with Cosequin (and Welactin). I chose the non-surgical route and am so glad I did! He takes the supplment on his food every other day. He eats the food without the supplement first, but then eats the food with the supplement. He has no visible signs of an injured knee. I was getting these meds at the vet, but it was really expensive so I started looking online. I actually get the exact same medicines (same box and everything) for less than half the price of what the vet charged me.
This has seemed to help my older cats. I have one that her front legs give out when she jumps down from somewhere and this seems to help her. They gave me liquid glucosamine to give her from the vet and that wasn't an easy task. Being able to sprinkle it on their food is much easier.
