Our Manchester just turned 13 and has not yet needed to have his teeth cleaned ... these treats do it. Shorty gets one in the evening and it keeps him busy for a good 20 minutes too!

My dog loves these. A rescue dog, he came to us with teeth coated with tartar. Our vet recommended these chews when we said we wanted to avoid sedation dentistry until absolutely necessary. Our "Chico" gets one every couple of days and after a few months his teeth and his breath showed a remarkable improvement. These chews start out hard, and as the dog chews on them the coating goes to work on tartar as the chew softens from his saliva. I worried about our dog swallowing the soft part when the chew is nearly gone, but our vet says that's normal and won't harm him. Of all the treats I've bought for Chico, he loves these the best!

Pros:
 • Improvement in stinky breath was quick. And her teeth seem cleaner now.
Cons:
 • They start out really hard and dogs with smaller mouths or sensitive teeth may have a problem.
My dog, Magic, is the biggest pain when it comes to getting her teeth brushed. When the vet freaked out on me for brushing her teeth maybe once each month, she recommended something to add to her water bowl and these chews. I can get them for 25 bucks at my vet or for 15 from Vet Depot. Easy decision.
