We have been using PetSafe Wireless Containment System since 2003. We installed two transmitters, one on each end of the house so the dogs have a larger area to run. We only had to replace one receiver after 10 years of use. Money well invested on a great reliable system. (Transmitters are on a voltage surge protector system).
