These collars work really well, but I noticed a problem sometimes. Sometimes, after a few months, they start to crack. I even had one break completely. So, I'm not sure if it is totally accurate to say they last 5 months, but maybe I'm doing something wrong. Even so, they certainly get rid of fleas and keep them away.
