My vet recommended that my lab mix begin taking Denamarin about a year ago when some routine bloodwork indicated elevated liver enzymes. Recent follow-up testing revealed virtually no change in these enzyme levels. Is the Denamarin helping to prevent this condition from worsening or doing nothing at all? I don't know, so for now I'm going to keep giving it to my beloved dog. On the positive side, she happily takes her two pills as if they are the most delicious of treats, and service from VetDepot has been superb so far.
Our little Dixie started losing drastic amounts of weight. The specialist determined he was starting to have liver failure and probably would not live much longer. Our vet told us to try this product. Within a couple of weeks he was regaining weight and now is very healthy with no liver problems. He has been taking this for almost three years.
Before getting chewable Denamarin, I had been using the enteric coated tablets (non-chewable) Denamarin. Missy is a bear about taking pills. She thinks the chewables are treats. As far as this product goes (chewable or non), Missy's liver enzymes have fallen from the low side of the high range to the high side of the normal range. Although we don't have a grasp yet on what the problem is, her levels are getting better.
This was my first time ordering from VetDepot. I was amazed at how quickly the Denamarin came in the mail with no extraordinary charges. My dog readily snarfs up the chewable tabs; no more having to coat them with messy (but delicious) peanut butter. He likes it so much he reminds me that it's time for his Denamarin each morning.
Name brand medication, best price, quick delivery, excellent service. We thought we were going to lose our 12 pound 15 year old Pekingese mix. After running tests, the vet started her on Denamarin and a special homemade diet. She is doing really well. We love the chewable form of Denamarin. We give the dog 1/2 tab every morning one hour before food. (It breaks in half easily.) When our little old dog started to turn her nose up at her 1/2 tab, we broke that in half, and she willingly took the two smaller pieces, but still getting her 1/2 tab dose.
Denamarin chewable tablets for my dog with Cushing's disease arrive by mail more promptly than I can get them from my local vet's office, and the price is less even with shipping. I appreciate the prompt response to my orders, and am really pleased with how well my dog is doing on the medication. Vet Depot is a good company!
My 7-year-old wire-haired terrier developed Cushing's disorder two years ago. Since then she has responded well to a daily Denamarin tablet, the chewable tablet being by far our preference. (I accidentally ordered the NON-chewable once.) The price for the 75-count bottle at VetDepot represents an appreciated savings for me, despite the shipping to Alaska. Excellent service enhances the experience!
My Scottish Terrier, Clancy, suffers from degenerative liver disease. Denamarin, in conjunction with vet-prescribed bile acids has restored the vim and vigor Clancy had before becoming ill. It's great to see him alert and playful again. Can't praise this product enough.
This stuff really works. We started using it her symptoms went away. We stopped using it her symptoms came back. So now we are back using it she is doing great.
