My dog hated the Denamarin the vet carries, but now every morning he's waiting for his "treat" when I get up!

While the "chewable" description of the product is subjective (my dog still needs peanut butter), this version with 75 tablets at vet depot.com is the best value available. Their ordering process including tracking and delivery was seamless and they put a sticker on the product ordered so you can easily reorder.

At the age of 8, my Great Dane was diagnosed with Liver Disease with a very high count and not a good outlook for such an old dog; our vet put him on Denamarin. We used it religiously for two years to help boost his appetite and mood, along with a low protein diet. I truly believe it helped him survive another two years until he passed away at the age of 10.

Given to a canine 6 yr. old Welsh Terrier, lowered ALT level considerably after 2 months, has not lowered ALP level. Chewable form is very easy to administer (she thinks it's a treat). Price from VetDepot is the lowest we have found with great service & very fast shipping.

My 13 year old Border Collie mix began taking Denamarin over a year ago due to elevated liver enzymes. She started on the coated tablets which were a pain to administer. When I found the chewable tablets, mornings became much better for both of us. She thinks they are treats and willingly eats them. Since Mollie tends to swallow them with little chewing, I break the 1 1/2 tablets into six small pieces. Mollie's ALP level dropped significantly, then went back up some, but it is still much lower than it had been. This was my first order from VetDepot. I was pleased with the price and the service. I will use them again.

This product is so wonderful. My dog, Beanie, wakes me up every morning (that's the part I don't like) so that she can take her medicine. She likes it better than she does her regular treats. Her liver which was severely damaged from eating part of a Sago Palm has apparently rejuvenated and I will never let her stop taking this med. It is a great and fairly inexpensive med to take every day just to keep the liver healthy. I love this company. I have never received anything so quickly and it cost about half as much as it does at my vet. Thanks!

Our Gordon Setter is being treated for a lymphoma on her lip. Her Oncologist suggested we give her Denamarin as a supplement. We have to laugh at her because she will not chew the tablets, but if you put a little peanut butter on them, they disappear very quickly. Denamarin has literally saved my little 16 year old dog's life. She had bowel problems and nausea; it was looking bad. When the vet got the results of her liver function tests, he recommended Denamarin. She is now on a special homemade diet, and combined with this product her digestion is normal again. We never deviate from the diet or the Denamarin. Her quality of life is so much better now. As suggested on the package for a dog her size, we give her 1/2 tab every morning on an empty stomach, set a timer for one hour, then feed her when it goes off. She eats three times a day, but only needs the medication once a day. On occasion she gets fussy about taking her Denamarin, so we break her 1/2 tab into a couple of pieces, and either offer it from our open hand, or in her food bowl, without food of course. Never fails, she'll take it. Just needs a change of pace every now and then. Almost always, she thinks it's treat and looks forward to it.

My vet didn't offer the 75 tablet size jar, which in itself is a money saver. And we don't have to unwrap a pill every morning now.....just take one out of the jar they come in. This is the same brand my dog was getting from the vet's. The vet was always out of stock, so with VetDepot's great customer service and speedy delivery (I am in CA) I got the product as quickly as I ever did from my vet, plus it is delivered to my door, and much less expensive than the vet. I shopped around and VetDepot's price was less than anywhere else online.

I can't say enough about Denamarin as a product. My husky has always been a picky eater, but when her bowl stayed full for several days and she vomited bile I took her in and found her liver enzymes to be elevated. The vet recommened Denamarin and I purchased the 30 count chewables from them for a heavily marked up price. I used a Google search to find 75 count chewables from VetDepot for not much more than the 30 count from the vet. The delivery time is quick and the service is great. Most importantly, my dog made a 180 healthwise! She eats like a a horse, is frisky again and her levels are down.
