This is the exact same medication I was purchasing from my vet's office and it's MUCH cheaper here. 100 pills plus shipping didn't even cost as much as 30 pills from my vet. Since my cat needs to be on this for the rest of her life, this will save me a lot of money.

The product, as a drug, seems to be really helping my cat. She is dramatically better. My only complaint, and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars, is that the pills are coated w/ a hard pink shell. I'm not sure a coated pill is necessary for a cat (it made it hard to crush to put on her soft food, and harder to keep in a 'pill pocket' when I started using those), and she certainly doesn't need the artificial color of the coating.

This drug is $40 from my Vet for 90 pills, only $19 from VetDepot for 100 pills!! Love the price difference, but the main thing is that the actual pills come in the bottle shown above, so I know they are real. I don't have any probs giving them to my cat. They are super small and I toss one into the back of her throat and give her a few treats. Sometimes I miss and she spits it out, but a 2nd try usually does the job. Great pills, great site to deal with!!

My title sums it up. I can also add that shipping is quick, my order is always accurate, and if need be VetDepot contacts my cat's veterinarian for an updated prescription.

This product is great. The purchase price here is 1/3 of what I paid at the vet. Having worked for a vet and knowing that the pharmacy is part of their profits that keep my other costs down, I asked them if they could match it to keep my business. Unfortunately, they couldn't; and I couldn't pass up such savings considering this will be a lifetime medication and I'm hoping to get a lot more life out of Tyler. As far as the actual product I like the fact that it is small and coated it makes it easier for Tyler to swallow. The methimazole is a larger uncoated tablet which would get stuck on his tongue and I can only imagine how horrible it must have tasted for him. In addition, the uncoated pills can get into your skin and affect your metabolisim unless you wear gloves.

I think ordering animal prescriptions over the internet is awesome. Saves me a trip to the vets office as well as money. Most veterinarians charge twice the amount for the exact same prescription. Processing and delivery takes no time at all!
