My dog is 15 and was diagnosed with an enlarged heart which was pressing on his trachea causing him to have difficulty breathing. When we brought him to the vet they put him on Vetmedin and WOW! after a few days he was back to himself and his prognosis is good for him to live actively for sometime more. It actually saved his life. I'm sure this may not be typical but it bought us some extra time with our precious little dog.

When our dog need to take Vetmedin it became very expensive from out vet. We found VetDepot searching on-line and could not believe the difference in cost. After the first order arrived sooner than expected, we thought okay we'll see how the second order goes. Very impressed so far and are very happy customers.

My dog went into heart failure a while ago and was put on this medication for the rest of her life. Buying straight from the vet is super expensive. VetDepot was much cheaper and they arrived really fast. I highly recommend.

My vet was very much against using a mail order company for my special needs IG rescue. However, after much research, including contacting a friend in DEA, I decided to give VetDepot a try. The Vetmedin appears to be working as well as the meds provided by my vet; plus they are half the cost. Delivery is very timely, and the customer service has been excellent. I would highly recommend VetDepot to anyone needing prescriptions for their pets.

Hey all, I wrote some unflattering things in a previous review because I was frustrated at the length of time it took to get my order. Just a reminder to ALL out there that the Vet Depot people are working as hard as they can. If you order over a holiday weekend it's going to take longer because A) your vet is probably closed then too; B) the US postal service isn't working then either; C) the cuts in the post office mean slower service overall; and D) Even the Vet Depot peeps need a break now and then.



I was so impressed that there was an immediate follow up to my previous review, both in an email and via US mail in the form of a cute card from the customer service staff. THIS is why I will use VetDepot again and again and again. Thanks Erin and staff -- you rock!!!

The good news pertains to what most people have said about these meds. They DO improve the quality of life for our dogs suffering congestive heart failure and they are about half the price that my vet charges for the exact same medicine.



The bad news comes in the form of customer service. I made the mistake of ordering on the Thursday before a Memorial Day weekend and my order didn't ship until 5 days later. The rest may fall under the responsibility of the US Postal service, but my order didn't arrive for another 8 days. It was frustrating and scary because my dog nearly ran out of medication.

Very pleased with the turn around time for order.The price is fantastic compared to large chain pet stores. I have been a customer for a year and highly recommend VETDEPOT to all my friends.

After putting my dog on this product he has improved so much that he is still with us. We was advived by another vet to have him put down, but at the time I tried another vet who had us order this product. He is still with us and doing really well.

My 15 year old dog has an enlarged heart and his health was failing rapidly. My vet put him on Vetmedin and his health has improved amazingly. He is still going strong 6 months later and will be with us for quite a while longer. Miracle drug for my dog.

Our 13 1/2 year old poodle was in such a bad condition. He could hardly breath just gasped for air. His heart is enlarged by 2 1/2 to 3 times larger than normal. So much pressure was being placed on his lungs. At the clinic he was coughing up blood. The decision was made to put him down. The vet agreed that his survival chances was close to zero. I held him in my arms for a couple of hours. I asked the vet to give him a diuretic injection to see if that would help, so the vet did. We took our Carter home and started to give him 3 Vetmedin pills per day, 1 1/2 every 12 hours. The very next day he was acting so much better, his gagging and coughing lessened. That was over 3 weeks ago and for 3 weeks he has been playing with our 10 month old puppy. They chase each other around the house and have a great time. He has not acted this way for years. Everyday we have him is a gift from the LORD!

From the 1st week my dog started it, she improved so much. This medication, along with two others, has helped my dog be more herself and is not labored to just breathe. It is expensive but worth it. I don't know if my 11 year old sweet dog would be alive if it were not for this pill. She can be a dog again running and walking.

I thought my dog was not going to make it and cancelled this order once.

I had no problems and the customer service was excellent. Yes, the price is

great at VetDepot but great customer service is very important to me as well.

I was leery of using an online medication supplier but had no choice due to the high prices at the vet. Thanks to VetDepot I can keep my little 14 year old dachshund on a healthy regimen of his heart meds. Good service, good product.

Medicine is just as described and cheaper than other sources.

My 15 yr old Shih Tzu was put on Vetmedin by the vet. I had to get the 1st bottle from the vet and then ordered it from VetDepot. What a price difference which I knew there would be. I get my orders fast, providing there aren't any holidays. Vetmedin has reduced my dog's seizures to around 1 a month now. She is on other medicine, which I also get from VetDepot, but I feel Vetmedin is really helping her heart pump stronger so she won't seize so much. If VetDepot has it, I'll order it. Prompt, inexpensive, and quick. And the humans are nice too. :o)

Great price. My dog is still going 9 months since diagnosis.

We started on this in Jan 2011. Our vet charges 120.00 for a 30 day suply. You can figure out how much we have saved, and will save in the future! This med has stopped the progression of CHF and we hope to have much more time with our adopted fur person! He will not chew the med as directed so we put it in a ball of Velveta cheese - he loves his "Cookie" now. VetDepot calls in for a 3 mo Prescription and ships out the quickly when they recieve it from the vet. #1 in SERVICE in my book.
