My Yorkie has been through a lot this past year and a half. Pancreatitus (sp), surgery to remove spleen, then diagnosed with diabetes have insulin 2 times a day, was malled by a Great Dane resulting in surgery and last but not least now hi pancreas isn't working much at all. The PancreaPowder Plus 12 oz is the same product we got the first time directly from our vet except that this one is much more affordable. That's the only difference we can see. It is delivered promptly (but get your prescription in promptly because that takes a few days at first). The only thing I wish they had is an auto ship for products that are prescribed for life like this one has to be. We have a Great Dane so the amount we use of this product is a lot. My Bassett Hound first developed Pancreatitis about 14 months ago. It became a recurring problem so we went to the specialist who recommended this supplement. She has done much better since then, with a couple of flare ups, but not as severe. The other key factor is diet. Low fat, not treats. We are pre- cooking the the Prescription Diet WD low fat canned food to remove even more of the fat. The price from VetDepot is less than 1/2 the cost from the Vet.
