Some vets seem to think it isn't that effective with various digestion issues, but for me and my cat(s), it has proven to work wonders when much higher priced medicine has not been effective. The pill size/shape itself is a bit on the "chunky" size and you have to either put it in a gel cap or something else so it doesn't touch the animals mouth/tongue otherwise your pet will start foaming at the mouth. VetDepot has a good price and good service on this product.</p>

Metronidazole in combination with Prednisone is the only thing that is effective for my dog's digestive problem. We tried quite a few other meds with no success. The dog and I are both happy to have this resolved after many months of distress
