Buying this product at Vet Depot will save me a lot of money...my vet charges more than Vet Depot for a bottle with about 2/3 the number of pills! The only downfall is that Vet Depot's Methimazole pills don't have a coating over them, and the ones from my vet do. I wrap these in soft treats to give to my cat, and without that coating, she detects the bitterness of the pill and sometimes manages to separate it from the treat and spit it out.

This product works just as well as the Tapazole did for me. It is an inexpensive alternative to surgery and some of the other options.

These pills are convenient because they easily dissolve in a few drops of water, so I can just mix them into wet food. They are also easily broken in half, making them a great value.

I have no problem with the product but I was irritated by the slowness of the shipping. I paid extra for 2 day priority. Ordered it Thursday, shipped Monday, received it Friday. Maybe my gripe is with the Post Office taking 5 business days for 2 day priority.

My vet was going to charge me $45.00 for a quantity of 100 tablets..I said no way and found this website where it's $17.99 for a 100 tablets. It actually came out to $25.00 for shipping and tax, but this is a good deal...My cat is 15 and I found out she has to be on these for life. Thank you VetDepot.com for helping me save money. A low cost alternative to purchasing from the vet. I recieved the same quality medication.

After getting the first prescription from the vet, I decided to search for a better price elsewhere. VetDepot was much more reasonably priced for the exact same product, even with the high shipping costs. Now if anyone can tell me how to get my cat to take it, I would be even happier. He took it fine for a month or so with the pill inserted in the pill pockets, but now he's wised up and won't eat the treats. Sometimes peanut butter or cheese helps, but he's getting very finicky. He does still howl at the moon, but he has gained weight while eating less than before he went on the medication. I haven't noticed any side effects.
