Wish every online vendor was this conscientious, while providing such execllent value!

If I could do it over, I would have opted for surgery when my 14 year old was dx''d at 6. Tapazole/Methimazole can have side effects such as causing/aggravating IBS, which my cat has big problems with now. Since I don't really want to put him through surgery at this point, I will continue with the medication, Vet Depot does have the best price for this medication. It does control the hyperthyroid condition very effectively.

When your pet has to take 2 of these a day, the cost can add up quickly. From my local pharmacy I was paying 70 cents each and that was the best price I could find. Vet Depot's price can't be beat! I will order here from now on.



However, I found my vet wasn't thrilled about me ordering online. Not sure why they care but it took some convincing for her to write the prescription for 100 pills at a time. The cat is going to be on these for the rest of his life so you'd think they'd want me to find the best price.

I wasted years buying all my pets prescription meds at pharmacies or other sites. These prices are great, same products, quick delivery. Will use for all of their meds in the future. This is especially a great place if you have multiple pets, as I do.

Does what it supposed to do. It's a pain splitting the pills and getting your cat to swallow them twice a day. I also feel it suppresses my cat's appetite. It's hard to get him to eat to keep up his weight. But it was the best alternative, couldn't afford having my cat get his thyroid irradiated ($2,500).

My geriatric male cat was losing weight and howling at the moon until his vet prescribed methimazole two years ago. Another cat of mine was already on heart medication, and both cats were on K/D, so when I had to start buying methimazole, too, things started getting expensive. I have been getting Methimazole 5 mg, 100 Tablets from VetDepot, for my cats thyroid problem for 3 or 4 years now. It has always come quickly, even when there have been expired prescription issues where the vet has had to be contacted for refils. The price is a third of what my vet wants to charge me. My fault for not completing the order correctly. They called and I returned the call. Got help fast. The agent was courteous and helped me place the order. They had already contacted the vet about the prescription. All great! Shipped fast. Best price too. My 14 year old cat has been on this for two years. We like the tablets, the ear liquid did not work out. The tablet crushed up in food works great twice a day.
