    Description

Take care of your dog's arthritis pain with Rimadyl Chewable Tablets

While there is no cure for arthritis, Rimadyl (Carprofen) 25mg, 180 Chewable Tablets can be used to control your dog's pain and inflammation. The main ingredient in Rimadyl Chewable Tablets is carprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works to inhibit the enzymes responsible for triggering the body's inflammatory response.

This product comes in tasty, liver-flavored chewable tablet form that dogs find highly palatable. Dogs suffering from arthritis may have trouble running, jumping, climbing stairs or up onto beds and furniture. Rimadyl pet meds treat the pain caused by the wear and tear on your pet's cartilage and connective tissue.

    Directions

For oral administration, the manufacturer's recommended dose is 2 mg of Rimadyl per 1 lb of bodyweight (4.4 mg/kg) given every 24 hours. However, the dose can be divided and given every 12 hours as 1 mg per 1 lb of bodyweight (2.2 mg/kg). However, always follow your veterinarian's specific instructions for administering Rimadyl to your pet.

Remember, Rimadyl Caplets and Chewable Tablets are for use in dogs only. Do not administer to cats or other animals. Keep out of reach of pets and children.

In conjunction with our vet, we decided to try our 10.5 year old golden retriever on a low dose of Rimadyl. We have used with other senior dogs and for post surgical pain management for foster pups.

    Rimadyl helps pain from arthritis.

    • Works for a long time.
    Cons:

It works great without messing my dog up or changing her personality. I give it to her after breakfast and she is better all day long.
