    Description

    Dog arthritis and pain reliever

Rimadyl (Carprofen) 100 mg, 60 Caplets is the number one brand of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for pain relief in dogs. In fact, millions of dogs around the world have been treated with this medication. With one dose, your pet can go 24 hours with suffering from pain caused by arthritis, hip dysplasia, or other degenerative joint diseases. This medication is also prescribed by veterinarians to control pain after soft tissue or orthopedic surgeries. It works by inhibiting COX-2, a chemical that triggers inflammation.

If your dog is suffering from arthritis pain, aspirin and other pain killers like ibuprofen are not the best option. Ibuprofen can be dangerous for pets, and aspirin can potentially harm your dog's joint cartilage. Instead, turn to Rimadyl (Carprofen) Caplets for proven canine pain relief.

    Directions

For oral administration, the manufacturer's recommended dose is 2 mg of Rimadyl per 1 lb of bodyweight (4.4 mg/kg) given every 24 hours. However, the dose can be divided and given every 12 hours as 1 mg per 1 lb of bodyweight (2.2 mg/kg). However, always follow your veterinarian's specific instructions for administering Rimadyl to your pet.

Remember, Rimadyl Caplets and Chewable Tablets are for use in dogs only. Do not administer to cats or other animals. Keep out of reach of pets and children.

My personal research has shown that the best price for this product is found at Vetdepot.
