Pros:

Relatively cheap, keeps fleas at bay for a long time

Cons:

Don't particularly like the smell but dissipates quickly.

The family pets have their own area of the house to hang out in and naturally fleas come with them. We use one of these every few months if we even suspect fleas are breeding in there. They vanish for a long time.
