Frontline Plus for Dogs 45-88 lbs, 6 Month (Purple) contains two powerful ingredients that keep your dog free of parasites. The first one is Fipronil, which kills adult fleas already on your pet within 12 hours of application. The second ingredient, (S)-methoprene, kills flea eggs and larvae. Together they protect your pet for 30 days with just a single application.

Because Frontline Plus kills immature fleas instead of just adults, it breaks the flea life cycle. This destroys the next generation of parasites and prevents future infestations. This spot on product is also effective against multiple species of ticks (deer, American dog, brown dog, and lone star ticks). This helps protect your dog from contracting Lyme Disease that can transmitted via tick bites.

Be sure to read all labels and packaging materials before using Frontline Plus for Dogs.

1. Remove the applicator: Lift and remove the plastic tab and expose the foil. Peel away the foil backing or use scissors to open.

2. Open applicator: Hold the applicator upright with the foil side toward you. Snap the applicator tip.

3. Apply Frontline Plus: Remove your pet's collar and part their hair between the shoulder blades. Place the tip just above the skin and squeeze. Apply the entire contents in a single spot on your pet's skin.

Make sure not to apply on top of the haircoat. Avoid contact with the wet, treated spot until dry. Only one applicator per treatment is necessary.

Cons:

We have used this product with all of our dogs. Although two of them tested positive for the lymes disease virus prior to starting their treatments. They never contracted the full symptoms throughout the remainder of their lives.

This product has been very effective for fighting fleas in our home. We have 3 Boxers and 2 smaller dogs. It's a safe and affordable product, and my dogs never have a reaction to it! Works great!

Best product I have used. Received very quickly from Vet Depot. With the drastic changes in temperatures here, the ticks were active even in winter. Frontline Plus did the job!
