Cons:

Our GS dog received this med 2/day for 1 month in conjunction w Metronidazole, 500 mg tab 1/12 hrs for 1 month as well. Treatment was effective and well tolerated. Our dog did not have negative side effects and we noticed after the 4-5 day of treatment a noticeable recovery of our dog normal stamina, playfulness and appetite.

Pros:
• My cat had no problem accepting the medication.
Cons:
• Maybe poor appetite which is why I rated it a 4 star. It seemed to get worse after starting Baytril but I am not sure if that was the pills or the sickness.
Baytril tablets cleared up my cat's urinary infection really fast. His symptoms were gone in about two days. He had been leaking urine and seemed overall sick before the medication. All his symptoms are gone now.
A good specialized antibiotic

Pros:
• Price
Cons:
This very expensive antibiotic is the treatment of choice for discospondilitis, a deep-bone infection. Treatment requires many months of antibiotic. VetDepot's discounted prices have allowed us to treat our eight-year-old Airedale terrier instead of putting him down.
