Azodyl, 90 Caspules - 6 Pack is an over-the-counter kidney supplement for dogs and cats. Azodyl may be given to pets suffering from chronic kidney disease (CKD) because its beneficial bacteria (probiotics) may help slow the progression of the disease. Although there is no cure for kidney disease, supplements like Azodyl may improve the quality of life of your dog or cat.

The three strains of live bacteria in Azodyl help reduce azotemia, which is a buildup of uremic toxins in the blood. The progressive loss of renal function caused by CKD is responsible for azotemia. Reducing azotemia may slow the progresion of the disease and prevent further kidney damage. Because Azodyl for Dogs and Cats has live bacteria, it must be kept refrigerated. Please note: Although Azodyl may remain unrefrigerated for a limited period of time, it is shipped expedited Monday through Thursday with insulated packaging and ice packs to minimize time spent unrefrigerated during shipping.

If you need help for chronic kidney problems - this is it! Great product and cheaper on Vet Depot than anywhere else I looked.
