We have 2 Shelties and one developed Cushings syndrome which is treated by a type of chemotherapy that increased his arthritis symptoms and caused other problems. The other has some sort of genetic problem (hip dysplasia). Both have thyroid deficiencies. The younger dog responded to the thyroid rather quickly, but the other on the chemo did not and his coat was barely there. It took months before his hair began growing back but it was the Arthogen that brought him back to his old self with results that could be seen within a few weeks. His coat this winter is beautiful again and he's back to racing the garbage truck as before! Even the younger dog is peppier and able to climb steps which he couldn't do before.

Pros:

Has MSM which my vet recommends, and also contains other things good for bad joints. Available from vetdepot.com with no prescription and comes in bulk bottles.

Cons:

The top seems loose on the bottle, but it is closed all the way. I'm not sure if maybe some moisture can get inside or not.

Arthogen Plus for Dogs contains everything your dog needs for joint health without also having a bunch of unnecessary ingredients that can cause side effects. My dog was 30% better in no time and keeps getting better every day.

I don't know how well these work as my puppers is taking other arthritis meds; however, the combination seems to have my 14.5 year old girl bouncing like an 8 year old. Super great price compared to other like products and quantities, and VetDepot rocks with their fast delivery. My go-to pet supply.
